AQUAYER Yermolayev`s fertilizer Iron – concentrated fertilizer for aquatic plants on the basis of ferric gluconate. Source of iron in addition to Yermolayev`s fertilizer Micro+. Also can be used instead of Yermolayev`s fertilizer MICRO+ in case of old aquariums those are maintained according to Yermolayev`s methodology (see infographic below).
AQUAYER Yermolayev`s fertilizer Iron is highly efficient against chlorosis (yellowing of leaves) which occurs at lack of iron in the aquarium. Recommended for fast-growing species of plants and plant demanding the iron content in the aquarium water.
AQUAYER Yermolayev`s fertilizer Potassium – concentrated fertilizer for aquatic plants containing potassium. Necessary for new aquariums with plants, as well as for older aquariums with plants demanding high potassium content in the water. Part of Yermolayev`s system of fertilizers for aquarium plants (see infographic below).
Symptoms of potassium deficiency
Small round holes appear on the leaves. Yellowing of older leaves and their subsequent extinction.
AQUAYER AlgoShoсk against green filamentous algae and algal bloom. Desiged by Sergey Yermolayev. AQUAYER AlgoShock acts on those algae in the aquarium against which AQUAYER Algicide+CO2 insufficiently efficient. These two algaecides have the different mechanisms of action on the algae. If Algicide+CO2 is more efficient against red algae (Black beard algae, Staghorn) and xenococcus, the action of The AlgoShock is more focused on green filamentous algae and algal blooms (green water).
Yermolayev`s Micro – daily fertilizer for aquatic plants containing iron and all the necessary trace elements for good color of the plants. Part of Yermolayev`s system of fertilizers for aquarium plants.
The feature of Yermolayev`s MICRO+ formula is the mixture of chilates optimized by Sergey Yermolayev. The preparation of optimized chelates mixture for aquarium plants requires balanced quantity of different chelating agents. Chelating agents are necessary to be in such amount to avoid precipitation of iron and some trace elements. But it is important to avoid excess of the chelating agents because in this case they can limit availability of nutrients for plants. Yermolayev`s MICRO+ contains mixture of gluconate and DTPA as chelating agents. Gluconate is stable and easily biodegradable in aquaria. The function of DTPA is to maintain constant concentration of iron and some trace elements in aquarium water so they can be available for plants in any time.
